What We Believe at Church of Our Saviour
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
We are rooted in scripture. We affirm the historic Christian faith, centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Our beliefs shape everything — from how we worship to how we serve our community.
God
We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — who created and sustains all things.
Jesus Christ
Fully God and fully man, Jesus is the only way to salvation through His life, death, and resurrection.
Holy Spirit
The Spirit empowers believers to live holy lives and equips the Church for mission.
The Bible
The inspired Word of God, containing all things necessary for salvation.
Salvation
A free gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ — not earned, but received.
The Church
One, holy, and apostolic — a family of believers called to worship and serve together.

Anglican Doctrine
The Apostles’, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds. These creeds serve as the authoritative summaries of essential Christian doctrine, grounding the Church in historic orthodoxy, shaping its worship and guiding the formation of disciples.
The Liturgical Worship found in the Book of Common Prayer. The Book of Common Prayer is central to Anglican identity because it unites doctrine, worship, and daily life into a common scripture-saturated rhythm that forms God’s people in faith, unity, and practice.
The Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion. The articles provide a concise, authoritative framework for Anglican doctrine and clarify essential beliefs distinguishing the Anglican tradition within the wider Church.
Scripture and Sacraments
We celebrate the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion, using the rich liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer to guide us in worship.
“Worship in the Anglican tradition connects us to centuries of faithful believers who sought to honor God with reverence, beauty, and truth.”

Beliefs in Action
Our beliefs are not just theological — they shape our daily lives. We’re called to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the community and to the world.
