Worshiping as a Family
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6
At Church of Our Saviour, we believe that worship is for the whole family. We delight in the joyful presence of children and welcome them to participate in our services. Whether you’re raising a family on John’s, Seabrook or Kiawah Island, we want your kids to feel seen, loved, and spiritually nurtured.
What to Expect on Sundays
Children in Worship
Children stay with their families during the full service. We believe it’s important for them to experience the rhythms of Anglican worship and see faith lived out in community.
- Worship activity bags available at check-in
- Kids’ bulletins to follow along with Scripture
- Children’s message or family-friendly sermon moments on select Sundays
- Warm acceptance of wiggles, giggles, and whispered questions
“We believe children learn to worship by being present in worship.”

Kids and the Sacraments
Children are invited to receive a blessing during Communion. Parents may speak with Fr. Karl about preparing older children for full participation in the Eucharist.
Upcoming Family Events
From weekly worship and Bible studies to seasonal celebrations and outreach events, there’s always something going on at Church of Our Saviour.
